This line of cute plush robots each have a charitable cause that they are linked to. The charity connection feels a little gimmicky but the character design of the robots is utterly adorable.
Microcontroller Computer Systems Engineering Kit
The science and engineering kits at Thames & Kosmos definitely made me jealous of the cool electronics toys made for kids today. The description of this kit sounds pretty similar to the intro classes in physical computing taught in DT! The only downside is this particular kit requires Windows to program (boo!)
Cupcake Purse
The Creativity for Kids booth totally gave me flashbacks to all the arts and crafts kits I had growing up. Seven year old Katie would have totally died for this decorate your own cupcake purse. It's just the right amount of crafty and girly.
