David Pasquel presents Paul R Bear

Hi, I am Paul R Bear and I am a polar bear.  I come from the island of misfit toys.  You may remember this remote island from the tales of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.  I don't know much about Rudolph because he left the island before I was born but my mom, Paula Bear, knew him well.  You see, Rudolph and Mom became quite intimate while they were on the island, and, well, Rudolph is my dad.  And, as misfit toys, I inherited both of their perceived abnormalities.  Like Mom, I too have front legs that are indistinct from my body, and like Dad, part of me glows.  Unlike Dad though, it is not my nose that glows but my whole body and it is not something I can control.  But if you would like to see me glow, just squeeze my tail and I light right, and don't worry.  It doesn't hurt.  In fact it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling all over.
