Next time I get an assignment like this I will not get the cool item but the one easiest to dissect. I felt like a surgeon for stuffed animals after this project. So, lets start:

In order to activate the functions, you either pat the head or scratch the chin or grab a front paw and the contact sensor closes and activates the motion and sound electronics.
Here is a closer look at the circuit board and some glued on electronics. Yep, there are resistors and capacitors glued to the leg motion-tronics box.
