hi all, my name is jungjin lee, the 2nd year in mfadt.
i  was born and raised in seoul, south korea. i studied earth science in the university. i have almost 10 years of experience as a science teacher in high school in  my country. after i moved to la, i studied interactive media and i worked 1 year as a web designer in the state. i want to learn more about this area and study in new york, that's why i am here right now.
i think my favorite childhood toys were barbies, blocks, and bear dolls.

Gabriela Lopez

I'm Gabriela Lopez, you can call me Gaby. I studied Graphic Arts in Puerto Rico and worked there as a web designer and developer. I don't have a specific focus here on Parsons; I came here to learn new stuff and to find a new path for my  career that's why I'm taking different types of classes.

I'm interested in the class because it sound extremely fun and I like the idea to hack and modify electronic objects that people build for other purposes.

Zeen

Hi, I'm Zeen(YoungZeen Kim), a second year MFADT.

My background is graphic design, and I've been a web designer for several years in South Korea.
In Parsons, I've been taking programming related classes, such as C++, actionscript, algorithmic animation, everyday pixels, and mostly worked for code based projects.
I'm interested in code based works, including information visualization, and image/video processing, and working for my thesis which is about creating organic creatures that keep traveling through the web, simulating the natural organic system.
I guess my favorite toys were plastic model assembly kits, such as Japanese robots, cars, plains, or simple electronic kits. And I guess those are still my favorites, besides computers!

Kenny Lau

Hi, Everyone:

Here's my short bio:

BFA in Theater Tech and Television/Radio.  From Hong
Kong.  I am very interested in Live performance w/ the
use of technology.  Looking at different alternatives
for performance methods and effective communication
skills.I also particpated in many live events such as music
concerts, operas, and plays. 

The use of wireless is very appealing to me because I
think it might be an interesting additional to my
study of design in "Live."

My favorite toy is the Golden Lightan.  This is a
Japanese animation featuring these Lighters like
Robots.

Plush Toy:

This is a Plush Toy I found.  His name is Sad Sam.  Basically, if you  squeeze his stomach, he will start making noise.  There's no official website for this guy.  But it's been out for 6-7 years.  It cost about $10-20.

Stephanie Cheung

I graduated with a BFA in Multimedia. This is my second year as a MFADT graduate.

I like all sorts of toys typically the cute or cools types. As a hobby I used to build/paint toy models or toy cars but I've stopped since highschool.

My skills range from most adobe software, flash, and web. I'm terrible with programming. I also have experience silkscreening.I'm taking physical computing this term ~hopefully it will help in this course, vice vera. I'm carrying a huge blue Pikman (Nintendo character).

This class sounds fun and interesting but most of all I believe it will aid towards my thesis. I plan to create a conceptual product and this will be great practice for the hands-on training.
