1. To work hands-on with and build a common vocabulary for Electronic Toy Design, Interactive Installations, Wireless Technology, Online Experience and "Audiences," Socially-Driven Media Sharing, and "Participatory Culture."
2. To refine presentation and critique skills at the graduate level

4. To reinforce rigorous conceptual development and introduce a range of methods for the expression and articulation of ideas online, with toys, and in installations.
5. To explore forms of writing, including but not limited to critical writing, design briefs, self-assessment, personal statements, scenarios, project reviews, blog postings, blog commenting, link sharing, and emerging forms of online participation.
6. To establish your own voice as a creative author of works including text, performance, toy design, object making, installation design, online discourse, and evaluation.
