Please thank Collean for the wonderful trip to Hasbro. It wouldn't have happened with her and here's all the pictures from the trip. As we approached the buildings we could see a huge statue of a Mr. Potato Head. The friendly people of Hasbro took us on a tour of their facility right after lunch. It's Hasbro so there's got to be toys everywhere. Even their front desk was aligned with figurines from Star Wars characters to Transformers... the anticipation ~
[Who is Mr. Flower Man?]
Mr. Flower Man is an alien from a mysterious, clean and perfumed planet far far away. Mr Flower Man was sent to Earth for an important mission, that is, to clean up pollution and to reduce the odor before it reaches his planet.
When Mr. Flower Man detects odor, he immediate emits a magical spray from his belly button. The magical spray contain magical substances that kill bacteria and odor in the air. Mr. Flower Man is the terminator of odors.

This project is a spin off of the video game Katamari. We all love the game Katamari. We wish to create the same game but with TOYS. There will be two characters and two katamaris. Players will race to collect as many objects as possible. The player with the most objects wins the game. Unlike the original video game, characters will ride on RC cars. This is an adaptation to the American culture. The characters are now fast and furious and will stop at nothing to collect all the objects!
We are making a set of wireless interactive toys that delivers emotion between lovers in ambient ways.
When the female & male dolls hug or kiss each other, heart shaped cushion lights up saying a love message.
Concept: CK and I are creating a pair of plush bunny rabbits who are married. They are very protective over one another, so when you grab either bunny by the ears, the other becomes furious.
General tasks/responsibilities: I will handle the bulk of the physical computing side including creation of the circuit which will include the basic stamp, voice record/playback IC chip, and wireless communication chips. CK will handle the bulk of the plush design, fabric patterns, and toy construction. We'll be helping each other out with most of the process.
Time table/schedule: By Nov 29th, we'll have the audio ICs and parts for circuit construction. We will also have one of the plush toys created (without stuffing). By Dec 6th, we will have the circuits close to completion as well as both plush toys. By Dec 13th, the circuits will be encased and placed inside the stuffed plush toys. By Dec 20th, we will correct any circuit issues and/or cosmetic problems with the toys.
My concept involves monkey twins. They love each other so much that when they are not within a few feet of each other, they start screaming.
This week I will be doing the plush design and constructing the first monkey. Week 2 will involve the creation of the wireless units that live inside the belly of the monkey. For week 3, I will finish the plush construction and combine the plush and wireless aspects.
